Designed by Tommie Wilhemsen, the Dalene Cabin is located in the beautiful island of Renney Soy, Norway. It is beautiful for the natural design that it offers, along with the magnificent scenery of nature around it: a wide green meadow at one side, and beautiful ocean at other side. The exterior part of this natural retreat used dark fir-panels wood, which more resistant to water and add a unique black color to its exterior. Designed in slightly unconventional way, the natural cabin decor is inviting everyone to step inside and feel the warmth that it offers.
The interior is covered with oak wood panel, from ceiling to floor, as well as large window opening to catch the scenery and the natural light. It is consists of a large living area, contains a dining area, a submerged living room, and a beautiful small kitchen. The dining area located in the middle and showered by natural light from the floor-to-ceiling window on its side. The living room is warm and inviting with an in-wall fireplace, a cozy cream sofa, and the magnificent view of ocean on one side.
The usage of wood and minimum usage of other material, such as concrete, improves the natural feeling of this home significantly. All of the combination of unique design, wonderful scenic view, and the atmosphere of Norwegian meadow made this wonderful natural cabin decor to live for anyone who wants a retreat from their daily life.
